I’m visiting Washington Elementary School in Belvidere, Illinois (District 100) for two days on April 26 and 27!  I’m reading my book and talking about being an author as a part of the school’s Art Month celebration.

I had a wonderful day today (April 26) visiting with classes and reading my book.  I shared my book with nearly 20 classes either individually or in groups…a very full and fun day.  I want to send a special THANK YOU out to all of my new friends at Washington Elementary for being such great listeners and asking such great questions!  You guys are a very impressive group of students, and I’m so glad that we had a chance to visit today.  I’m looking forward to another great day at Washington Elementary tomorrow!
